The English Collective

THE ENGLISH COLLECTIVE (TEC) is a home-based tuition centre in Singapore that is passionate in empowering learners who need some extra help and push, to provide students a safe space to learn and develop their skills in the English language. The brand identity is inspired by the comma punctuation that is commonly found in the middle of sentences. This carries the vision of TEC — to step in the middle of the story, help students to do better and finish well.

The logo is a word mark that presents a modern, classic, and confident brand. A TEC Comma graphic specially designed for the brand is made out of on two basic foundational shapes. The corners of the word mark are then refined and rounded with the TEC Comma graphic to give a subtle elegant form.

A series of social media content was strategised for TEC as they launched their June Holiday Programme – promotions, details about the different programmes, interactive posts, book recommendations and study tips. The content took on different forms and layout but were cohesively presented through TEC’s brand colours and graphics.
