Something Old Something New

Something Old Something New is a neighbourhood thriftshop wholly owned by Simei Care Centre. The thriftshop serves as an financial arm to support to activities of Simei Care Centre. The store is run by psychiatrially disabled patients of Simei Care Centre.

The objective of this re-branding project was to heighten the dignity of the Thriftshop amongst others in the industry, while retaining an honest character. Keeping in mind the beneficiaries that SOSN is supporting and the roots of the thriftshop, we gave SOSN a whole new image and brand experience for its target audience. A never ending cycle of giving and taking is represented in the logo and support graphics. A buy and donate system is also designed and implemented within the packaging, where a donation bag is attached to the shopper’s bag upon purchase. Consumers can fill the donation bag with items to give away to the thrift shop and a collection can be arranged on the website.
