–ly made is a Singapore-based jewellery and lifestyle brand run by Liang Ying (亮螢). The brand was birthed from LY’s love for craft and a revelation that each and every single one of us are wonderfully made. Every product is hand-crafted and serves to remind every individual of the masterpiece they are, no matter how seemingly broken, flawed or imperfect they may feel.
The brand symbol and graphics of a star is inspired by the artist’s name in Chinese name which means light. The desire of the maker is to celebrate our identity and shine light in the darkness through meaningful jewellery and homeware. Hand drawn illustrations of the brand’s star are created and used on packaging materials and collaterals like the tissue wrap, jewellery care and thank you cards.
Being a brand that celebrates individuality and exploration, -ly made embraces a play of different type and forms.
The brand presents a modern, bold personality. The colours of the graphics and images that are styled and designed are on strikingly bold solid backgrounds of different colours that best bring out the individual products or art.
